Grafik Kaos now Ignited

A few weeks ago, I hinted at Grafik Kaos being redesigned.  Well here it is!  The only difference now is that it is not powered by ADDT (Adobe Dreamweaver Developer Toolbox) but by CodeIgniter.

I have to say, this is definitely the easiest PHP framework to pick up.  It only took me about a couple of weeks to get my head round the working of CodeIgniter, understanding its structure and the MVC (Model-View-Controller) pattern was also the easiest to pick up.

I do have a few unfinished touches here and there and there may be some drastic changes on the site while I try and see what works well for me and hopefully for you. 

A to-do list:

• - Set up a tagging system for my CMS
• - Finish up the portfolio, downloads and services page
• - Tidy up the footer
• - Add a SPAM checking system (pondering whether to use CAPTCHA or write a function to filter out spam)
• - I may end up even changing the navigation system.  Kinda looks naff at the moment

I am also considering writing up some CodeIgniter tutorials as well as providing screencasts.  But it's not definite just yet.  Well I hope you like the new site design.  Let me know your thoughts.
